Aswadan Lab Test Challenge
At Aswadan, we stand behind the purity and quality of our ghee.
If any customer has a genuine doubt regarding the purity or laboratory quality of an Aswadan Ghee product, they may independently get the product tested under the conditions below.
You Do Not Need to Inform Us Before Ordering
The customer does not need to inform Aswadan in advance that the product is being purchased for laboratory testing.
The product must be purchased directly from aswadan.in through a genuine order so that the order, batch and product can later be verified.
Aswadan will not specially select or prepare a product for such testing.
Product Must Remain Factory Sealed
The product submitted for laboratory testing must remain in its original Aswadan packaging with the manufacturer's seal/tamper seal completely intact.
The seal must not be opened, broken, removed, punctured or tampered with by the customer before the product is handed over to the testing laboratory.
Testing Must Be Done at a Recognized Laboratory
The product must be submitted to an appropriate FSSAI-notified and/or NABL-accredited food testing laboratory that is authorized/accredited for the relevant food-testing parameters.
The laboratory report must clearly identify the sample/product and contain sufficient information to verify the test, laboratory and results.
Continuous Video & Chain-of-Custody Proof
To participate in this voluntary Quality Challenge, the customer must maintain clear evidence showing that the same unopened Aswadan product purchased from our website was submitted for laboratory testing.
We recommend making an A-to-Z continuous video record showing:
-
Original courier parcel/product
-
Aswadan label and packaging
-
Batch/lot information
-
Completely intact manufacturer's seal
-
Order/product identification
-
Journey or handover of the sealed product to the laboratory
-
Laboratory receiving the sealed product
-
Laboratory/sample acknowledgement or receipt
-
Amount paid for testing
-
Final laboratory report received
Where the laboratory does not permit filming inside its premises, the customer should record as much of the handover as permitted and obtain an official sample-receipt, acknowledgement, invoice or other chain-of-custody document from the laboratory.
The laboratory itself may open the sealed product as part of its official testing procedure.
Keep the Original Laboratory Documents
Please retain and share:
-
Original laboratory report
-
Laboratory invoice/receipt
-
Sample submission acknowledgement
-
Name and details of the laboratory
-
Testing date
-
Product batch details
-
Order number
-
Relevant video/photo evidence
Aswadan reserves the right to independently verify the authenticity of the laboratory report directly with the concerned laboratory before approving any reimbursement or reward.
If the Laboratory Report Passes
Even if the independent laboratory report confirms that the Aswadan Ghee meets the applicable tested quality/purity standards and no problem is detected, Aswadan will reimburse the actual documented laboratory testing fee for an eligible test completed according to the conditions of this Quality Challenge.
The customer must submit the genuine laboratory invoice, report and required testing documentation/video evidence.
This reimbursement applies to the actual documented cost of the relevant ghee laboratory test. Any unrelated expenses will not automatically be included unless specifically approved by Aswadan.
If the Laboratory Report Fails
If a valid independent laboratory report establishes that the unopened Aswadan Ghee sample fails applicable food-safety/purity standards or the relevant declared product specification, and all conditions of this Quality Challenge have been satisfied, Aswadan will provide:
1. Full refund of the amount paid for that Aswadan Ghee product
2. Reimbursement of the actual documented laboratory testing fee
3. An additional ₹10,000 goodwill reward from Aswadan
The laboratory report and testing process will first be independently verified by Aswadan.
Where appropriate, Aswadan may also arrange its own verification/testing of the relevant batch while taking immediate steps to investigate the matter.
Important – Taste Preference Is Not a Laboratory Failure
Personal preferences regarding taste, aroma, colour, texture or consistency alone will not qualify as a failed laboratory test.
The ₹10,000 Quality Challenge applies only where an eligible independent laboratory report establishes an objective failure in the applicable tested food-quality, purity or safety standards/product specifications.
Customer Test Documentation / Video
For transparency, customers participating in this voluntary Quality Challenge are requested to document their independent testing journey, including product condition, sealed handover, laboratory receipt and final test report.
The customer is not required to upload or publish the video on their own Instagram, YouTube or other social-media account.
Where the customer separately provides permission, Aswadan may use the submitted testing video, photographs, laboratory report or portions of the documentation on:
-
Aswadan.in
-
Aswadan's Instagram
-
Aswadan's Facebook
-
Aswadan's YouTube
-
Other official Aswadan communication channels
This may be used as transparency material showing genuine independent customer testing of Aswadan products.
Before public use, sensitive personal information such as home address, mobile number, payment details or other unnecessary private information may be hidden.
Where required, Aswadan will clearly disclose that the customer's eligible laboratory-testing expense was reimbursed and/or that a reward was provided.
Public use of customer-identifiable content will be subject to the customer's applicable consent.
Verification & Misuse
The ₹10,000 Quality Challenge is intended only for genuine independent testing.
Aswadan may reject a claim if:
-
The manufacturer's seal was already opened or damaged before laboratory submission
-
The product cannot be verified as purchased directly from Aswadan
-
Product/batch identity cannot be established
-
The sample may have been substituted or tampered with
-
Laboratory documents are incomplete, altered or fraudulent
-
The testing laboratory cannot verify the report
-
Required chain-of-custody evidence is missing
-
The report does not actually establish a failure of an applicable tested standard
-
False or misleading information has been submitted
If necessary, Aswadan may contact the laboratory directly to authenticate the report, invoice and sample details.
This Challenge Does Not Limit Consumer Rights
This Independent Lab Test Assurance is an additional voluntary quality guarantee offered by Aswadan.
It does not replace or restrict any legal rights or remedies that a customer may have under applicable Indian consumer protection or food-safety laws.
Customers with a damaged, leaking, incorrect or otherwise defective delivery do not need to conduct an independent laboratory test to use the normal refund/replacement process described elsewhere in this policy.
